Studies show that getting nutrients from food is more important than taking supplements. Here are the best nutrients to eat for immune system health and what foods they are found in.

Vitamin C: Bell peppers, peaches, and papayas are the most vitamin C rich foods. Oranges still on the list but not as quite as high as the first three mentioned.

Vitamin E: Wheat germ is extremely high in vitamin E. You can also get it from nuts and seeds.

Vitamin A: Carrots, sweet potatoes, and butternut squash are full of vitamin A. Other foods are spinach, kale, cantaloupe, dried apricots, and mangos.

Bioflavanoids: Apricots, blackberries, currants, broccoli, and cantaloupe.

Zinc: Beans, peanuts, toasted wheat germ, roasted squash and pumpkins seeds.

Probiotics: Yogurt, microalgae, tempeh kimchi, kombucha tea, miso soup

Also, make sure to exercise, drink plenty of water, and sleep to keep your immune system healthy.

Stay healthy,
