What Type of Foundation To Wear to Your Audition

Matte Foundation is Key to a Successful Audition

We’ve repeated it many times now, but it is crucial to understand that the key to a good audition is being as natural as possible; distracting the casting directors is never a good idea. That concept also applies to your foundation. If your foundation is too dewy, you could shine and distract the casting directors. So, matte foundation is the key to any audition!

Candace Kita is here to show you the steps in order to achieve a nice, matte finish.

First, apply a matte foundation across your face and neck with a brush.

Next, use a blending sponge to blend it in and make it smooth.

Finally, add a translucent matte powder to go over that finished look.

And there you have it! Make your audition about your performance, not about your makeup. Now you can have a flawless finish for your performance.
