Wine, delicious food, and good friends: what sounds better than that? Especially after the recent pandemic, people are looking for a good vacation that’s still considered a getaway yet still close to home. Well, the VIVA GLAM team decided to visit the Westlake Village Inn earlier this month, and we found this property to be just that for anyone in the Los Angeles area. In fact, it’s a happening spot for locals! This local treasure is hidden in plain sight right in the heart of Westlake Village. But in this article, we’ll be talking about The Stonehaus (which is located at the Westlake Village Inn). Though it is in the heart of Westlake Village, the Stonehaus feels as if it’s tucked away in its own countryside, or rather, its own little world. It’s beautiful, relaxing, and yet somehow still incredibly happening. In fact, it’s the place to be for locals looking to pick up a nice meal and a couple glasses of wine.
Aside from being the only property in Los Angeles County with a working vineyard, The Stonehaus is also a great location to pick up coffee or have a nice breakfast.
It’s also the perfect spot for weddings and special events. In fact, we were told that many Malibu weddings will come have their receptions here at The Stonehaus after the wedding service, itself. And it’s no wonder why! There’s a beautiful inside hall that holds roughly 50 people for a chic celebration, gorgeous outside seating areas which can also hold about 50 people, and The Wine Cave, one of the most beautiful indoor seating/dining rooms we’ve ever seen. This room was carefully decked out with stone walls, was unbelievably clean, and showcased a modern yet vintage vibe.
With a presentation screen ready to drop down, The Wine Cave (and the whole Stonehaus location) would be the perfect location to rent for work presentations and events. So, definitely keep this location in mind for your next corporate affair!
But, of course, with The Stonehaus being a vineyard, we have to talk about the Wine! They offer 50 wines by the glass and an extensive menu of light and fresh flavors. We tried a variety of their wines, and each one had its own personality! Our personal favorite was the sparkling wine, but we are definitely bubbly ladies here.
The Stonehaus offers a wine club for those who live locally. Locals can pick up their wine at monthly wine socials held specially for members.
Wine aside, this hot spot also serves as a delicious coffee shop, tasting room, and food spot. Forget about the stress of figuring out how your group will split up the tab and order your own food when you are ready.

Whether you’re staying at the beautiful Westlake Village Inn, visiting Spa Relais for the day, or just dropping off the kids and swinging by to have a Mimosa, The Stonehaus is an absolute must-visit for anyone in or around Westlake Village.
