Christina Perri performed second, gliding on stage in her flowy white dress accessorized with her white sparkly belt and matching sneakers. When she wasn’t on the piano, she was dancing like she was in a drum circle, so her outfit and her comfy sneakers made sense. In the middle of her act, she played “Burning Gold” about her time in LA. She opened up about her struggle getting a record deal and how that all changed once she got through the hardest struggles. Considering that Perri has such a powerful voice, her set was a lovely contrast amongst the angelic softer tones Platten and Caillat brought to the stage.
