CVS to offer free makeup samples and free products!
Don’t you hate it when you’re not quite certain which shade of foundation is the exact match for your skin? And if you’re in the drug store, many times you can’t even sample a product to see which one is the best option for you. The result can be tons of unused makeup piling up in your cabinet because you accidentally chose the wrong shade. Bummer.
Well, those days of indecision are over at drug store giant CVS because they just made a big announcement.
They are making changes to their beauty perks program!
What does this mean for you? Well, you can get free samples and birthday gifts when you join their CVS ExtraCare Beauty Club. So, free samples means that you will be better able to make decisions on what beauty products to purchase. Beginning in July, you can find exclusive deals and events. For example, you can gain early online access to beauty launches. This way, you don’t have to worry about a release selling out by the time you can make it to your local CVS branch.
Also, there is going to be a change in the way your ExtraBucks are calculated. It’s simple: for every $30 you spend purchasing beauty products, you’ll get $3 ExtraBucks Rewards back! In addition, in your local store, CVS will host themed shopping events for Beauty Club members that will happen each month. Fun!
CVS has been changing its beauty section recently as you might remember earlier this year it announced it would no longer be photo shopping their in-house beauty ads. And earlier, they announced they wouldn’t be selling sunscreens that were below an SPF 15.
Now we have even more reasons to hang out in the beauty aisle at CVS!
